Renowned for bringing a contemporary spirit to Vietnamese silk, designer Ha Linh Thu lives up to her reputation with her latest Spring/Summer collection, “Phuong.” Designs combine shades of cobalt blue, vibrant yellow and fuchsia with skillful embroidery, manual beading and velvet appliqué on signature elegant cuts.

The collection was inspired in part by the beauty of the character Phuong in the classic Graham Greene novel The Quiet American. For the designer, the name Phuong carries many layers of meaning: the sound of flowing water, the clicking of glassware, the image of flowers blooming

The collection was photographed in Hoi An’s Old Town – a destination voted as the world’s best tourist city in 2019 according to Travel and Leisure magazine.
