The subtle charm of the Northern countryside lives on in Bac Ninh, a land rich in culture and tradition and the birthplace of the enchanting melodies of quan ho. Here, age-old pagodas and temples reside majestically amid modern cities, and time-honored village gates peacefully watch over the bustling pace of life. It’s this antique beauty that inspired a fashion photoshoot that sets the áo dài of designer Xuan Thu amidst the captivating destinations of Bac Ninh.

Xuan Thu’s collection finds a harmony between bright and youthful colors, such as red, pink, and yellow, and layers of modern dresses stylized from quan ho costumes.

Through these áo dài, “A Glimpse of Bac Ninh” takes viewers along stone steps to the tranquil atmosphere of Phat Tich pagoda, through the enduring gates of Cung temple to see the nostalgic beauty of Diem village and into the ceramic workshops of renowned craft village Phu Lang. Together, they offer an insight into the traditional culture and timeless charm of Bac Ninh.
